A piece of man is to love and cherish. To give themselves to another in hopes of nothing in return. This is called a "true love".
Another part is to find an answer to everything through a logical fallicy, and derive his own true self-worth and reason for being.
There is no bridging these two: the gap is too large.
There is no way...
"True Love" is more than you - it's the circle of love you share with someone. The constant concern for the well being of each other and, by fulfilling the needs of each other, your return is (primarily) her happiness and the knowledge that she fulfills your needs.
ReplyDeleteUnless you really believe that sacrificing everything for a woman's well being only to receive nothing is worth the battle, but that sounds very empty. You're only human, it is ok to have needs and desires - expecting nothing means you'll get nothing, and find a woman who will use you for being selfless. It's a vain battle my brother.
